In Seattle, Alleged Drunk Driver Faces Wrath of Family

According to Cohen, the family of a man killed in a hit-and-run by a suspected drunk driver cried out in anguish on Monday as the driver stood before the judge. A relative of Jerome Dumlao yelled, “Murderer! You killed my brother. He’s not coming back.” The family of Dumlao clung to one another. The family says Dumlao was crossing the street at the intersection of Bell and Western around 2:25 a.m., following a night out with his friends when he was struck and killed on Sunday.
His family said Dumlao, a local FedEx driver, had gotten married the previous year. He was looking forward to starting a family.
